ECNL South Carolina: Day 1 standouts
Under overcast skies in the Northwest corner of South Carolina, the second National Event of the 2020-21 Girls ECNL season kicked off at the Mesa Sports Complex.
With more than 100 teams all in action, there were countless impressive performances and frenetic matches from the day. But one of the first matches of the day, between Concorde Fire Platinum and Richmond United Under-16s, delivered an entertaining encounter. The side from central Virginia deployed an entertaining brand of attacking soccer, creating several chances and building between the lines. After conceding twice, Concorde Fire Platinum roared into life in the second half, scoring three unanswered goals to win the game.
Check out some of the standout performers spotted in Friday’s games.
